EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION August 11, 2004
Chapter 997 Four Corners Area
Our Next Meeting
Next Wednesday, August 18 we will meet at Animas Airpark in Del’s Hangar #3 at 7:30 PM. (This is a change from our earlier schedule. Doug Brady is working on a Lancair 4P but it is not ready to show yet.) The subject is a Young Eagles flight operation. We will have a special guest: Lynn Mylar, who is a leader in the local Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. There are about 70 Little Brothers/Little Sisters between the ages of 6 and 16 in our community. EAA has a great program just for this situation and we can make a difference in the lives of these 70 children. The usual rules apply: (1) bring a chair if you need one, (2) bring your own drink if you want something other than coffee, and (3) parking on the airport is OK.
Our Last Meeting
Sixty to seventy people attended the 2004 PIG ROAST on Saturday, July 10. The food was fantastic and the company was great. Many people participated in preparation of the food. The menu included Tom and Tony’s roast pig in two different flavors, Olathe corn on the cob, a wide selection of side dishes, and multiple deserts (Someone brought some very addictive fudge.). I’m all ready to do it again!
Eating, visiting, resting, and contemplating seconds.

The serving line was in operation for 2-3 hours.

And part of the cooking crew had a rest.

No business was transacted.
